Vila Melko was born from a simple dream to build a home rooted in nature, tradition, and family. In 1991, after years of working in Crete, Greece, Olsi Melko returned to his birthplace, Boboshticë, with a vision: to create something meaningful for his family and his homeland.
On August 15, 2001, that vision took shape as Vila Melko — a small, courageous venture that grew into one of the first rural tourism destinations in the Korça region. With heart, hard work, and a deep love for Albanian heritage, Olsi and his wife Alketa Melko turned their family home into a warm, welcoming guesthouse and restaurant where authenticity and hospitality meet.
Whether it’s a family dinner, a wedding, or a corporate event, Vila Melko is a unique venue for meaningful gatherings, surrounded by nature and tradition.
